
NEW YORK, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil's XOM.N 250,000 barrel per day refinery in Joliet, Illinois, returned to normal operations after resolving a weather-related issue, the company said on Tuesday.
On Monday, Exxon reported a process upset due to cold weather that resulted in flaring at the facility, a filing shows.
"We experienced an operational issue and have resolved it," an Exxon spokesperson said, but declined to comment on specific unit operations.
