NUCLEAR ENERGY

According to a public opinion poll, as many as 92% of respondents clearly support the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland, while only 5% oppose it, Rzeczpospolita reported, citing a poll commissioned by the Ministry of Energy.

LPP

Marek Piechocki, CEO of Polish clothing retailer LPP, said he will present a dividend recommendation at the end of January. The dividend increase will be proportional to the increase in net profit, Rzeczpospolita reported.

DATA

On Tuesday at 0900, the Polish Statistical Office will release unemployment data for December. Analysts polled by Reuters forecast the unemployment rate to rise to 5.7% from 5.6% in November.
