LONDON, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Britain said on Friday Nuclear Transport Solutions and U.S.-based Westinghouse have signed a strategic agreement to collaborate on the development of Pegasus, a transport cask for high-assay uranium fuel.
"Not only does this improve our energy security at home and reduce our reliance on Russian nuclear fuel, it provides export opportunities to grow our economy and ensure our allies can build resilient supply chains," British nuclear minister Patrick Vallance said in a statement.
