- The operator of Kazakhstan's Tengiz oilfield, TCO, has declared force majeure on crude oil deliveries into the CPC pipeline system, according to a TCO letter seen by Reuters, after fires caused power supply problems at the field in recent days.

Chevron , TCO's largest shareholder, said that TCO had temporarily shut in production at its Tengiz and Korolev oilfields, adding it would not comment on specific operational details or on its commercial or financial matters.
