- Cook Nuclear Plant's Unit Two was automatically shut down on Sunday due to an issue with electronic instrumentation that monitors steam flow to one of the unit's four steam generators, operator Indiana Michigan Power said on Monday.

It added that plant operators followed proper protocols to safely remove the reactor from service, placing the unit in stable condition.
