Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins fall

- Northwest European gasoline refinery profit margins fell by 34 cents on Tuesday to $9.22 a barrel.

  • About 11,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline traded on barges in the Argus window as Equinor, ExxonMobil and Trafigura sold to BP, Varo and TotalEnergies.

  • No Eurobob E10 gasoline barges traded.

  • Sinochem's Quanzhou Petrochemical said on Tuesday that it is close to completing maintenance at its refining-chemical complex in Fujian province, southeastern China, and expects to gradually resume operations soon.

  • The Chevron CVX.N vessel among those reported to have come under drone attack near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium's terminal in the Black Sea on Tuesday was proceeding to a safe port, the U.S. oil major said.

  • Meanwhile, EU-27 and UK gasoline exports to other regions have averaged 508,000 barrels per day in January so far, compared to 773,000 bpd across the full month of December.
