US Cash Grains-Soy and corn basis bids stay mostly steady

CHICAGO, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were mostly steady on Monday as traders awaited U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates on global supplies and demand due later in the day.

The USDA at 11 a.m. CST (1700 GMT) was set to issue final estimates for last year's corn and soybean harvests, along with data on U.S. grain stocks as of December 1.
Analysts said they largely expected the agency to reduce its estimates for the 2025 harvests following unfavorable dryness late in the growing season.
