UK RAF planes involved in US mission to seize Russian oil tanker, i newspaper reports

LONDON, Jan 7 (Reuters) - British Royal Air Force aircraft were involved in a U.S. operation to seize a Russian-flagged oil tanker in the North Atlantic, the i newspaper reported on Wednesday.
British airbases were used as launchpads for U.S. military aircraft involved in the operation, according to the report.
Britain's Ministry of Defence did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
