
CHICAGO, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures sagged on Tuesday as technical selling pressured the market, traders said.
Prices pulled back after the most-active contract Wv1 reached a one-week high.
Traders are waiting for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to issue key crop reports on Monday, including data on U.S. winter wheat plantings.
They kept an eye on dry conditions in parts of the nation's winter wheat belt.
In Ukraine, a major wheat exporter, December weather was favourable for winter grain crops, Ukraine's Academy of Science said.
CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 closed 2 cents lower at $5.10-1/2 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 ended 3/4 cent higher at $5.21-1/2 per bushel, while Minneapolis March spring wheat MWEH26 was down 4 cents at $5.67-1/4 per bushel at the close of trading.
