Med crude-Differentials hold steady

ReutersJan 5, 2026 6:05 PM

- Urals and Caspian crude oil differentials held steady on Monday in a muted market, with Russia and several neighbouring countries off for New Year holidays.

  • Price discussions for CPC Blend are few and far between because of uncertainty around cargo loadings, given poor weather and maintenance works at the CPC terminal, one trading source said on Monday.

  • CPC had suspended loadings on December 30 because of inclement weather. CPC Terminal did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment about the status of loadings on Monday, which was sent outside of Russian business hours on the public holiday.

PLATTS WINDOW

  • No bids or offers were reported to Reuters from the Platts Window on Monday for Urals, Azeri BTC and CPC Blend.
