Med crude-Differentials hold steady

LONDON, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Urals and Caspian crude oil differentials held steady on Monday in a muted market, with Russia and several neighbouring countries off for New Year holidays.

• Price discussions for CPC Blend are few and far between because of uncertainty around cargo loadings, given poor weather and maintenance works at the CPC terminal, one trading source said on Monday.

• CPC had suspended loadings on December 30 because of inclement weather. CPC Terminal did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment about the status of loadings on Monday, which was sent outside of Russian business hours on the public holiday.

• No bids or offers were reported to Reuters from the Platts Window on Monday for Urals, Azeri BTC and CPC Blend.

• The United States could raise tariffs on India if New Delhi does not meet Washington's demand to curb purchases of Russian oil, President Donald Trump said on Sunday, escalating pressure on the South Asian country as trade talks remain inconclusive.

• Serbia's Russian-owned NIS oil refinery, which is sanctioned by the United States, will be operational on January 17 or 18 after receiving a temporary licence, President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday.

• OPEC+ kept oil output unchanged on Sunday after a quick meeting that avoided discussion of the political crises affecting several of the producer group's members.
