US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids steady as futures trade near flat
CHICAGO, Dec 26 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat were flat at elevators in the southern U.S. Plains on Friday.
Dryness is hindering growth for 2/3 of southwestern U.S. Plains wheat, according to forecaster Commodity Weather Group.
Protein premiums were unchanged for all grades of wheat shipped to and through Kansas City. KCBT/SCA
K.C. March hard red winter wheat futures KWH26 were down 1/2 cent at $5.33-1/2 a bushel.
