
CHICAGO, Dec 26 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures ticked lower on Friday as traders booked profits ahead of the year's end.
Plentiful global supply of soybeans have kept a lid on prices, particularly as a bumper soybean crop is expected from Brazil.
Trade has been light following Thursday's Christmas holiday and ahead of the weekend.
CBOT January soybeans SF26 settled 4-1/2 cents lower at $10.58-3/4 per bushel.
CBOT March SMH26 soymeal futures settled 70 cents lower at $307.40 per short ton.
Most-active March soyoil BOH26 ended 0.30 cent lower at 49.22 cents per pound.
