US Cash Grains-Corn basis bids flat to higher

CHICAGO, Dec 24 (Reuters) - U.S. corn basis bids were steady to up at grain elevators and river terminals in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday as futures rose.

• Corn bids rose 2 cents at a river terminal in Morris, Illinois, and 1 cent at a grain elevator in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

• Soybean bids were flat in a spot check of elevators, processors, river and rail terminals.

• Corn futures ticked up, supported by robust exports and a weaker dollar, which tends to make U.S. exports cheaper and more competitive for holders of other currencies. [COR/}
