South Korean president orders stern response to illegal fishing boats from China

SEOUL, Dec 23 (Reuters) - South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Tuesday ordered a stern response to illegal activities by Chinese fishing boats in South Korean waters.
Lee ordered the coast guard to issue heavier punishment, such as bigger fines, to prevent illegal fishing in South Korea's Exclusive Economic Zone.
