US Cash Grains-Corn, soybean basis bids remain mostly unchanged

CHICAGO, Dec 18 (Reuters) - U.S. corn and soybean basis bids were mostly flat at grain elevators and processing facilities around the Midwest on Thursday, grain dealers said.

The corn basis increased at a Chicago-area elevator by 20 cents a bushel after falling by 5 cents per bushel on Wednesday.
Activity was generally quiet ahead of year-end holidays, dealers said.
Chicago Board of Trade corn futures finished higher on U.S. export demand, while soybean futures eased.
