US Cash Grains-Corn, soybean basis bids hold steady at grain elevators

CHICAGO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Corn and soybean basis bids were flat at grain elevators and processing facilities in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday, grain dealers said.

• A river terminal near Davenport, Iowa, rolled its soybean bid to the Chicago Board of Trade March futures contract SH26 from the January SF26 contract.

• Most-active CBOT soy futures Sv1 hit the lowest level since October 27, while corn futures Cv1 set the lowest level since November 24.

• Grain dealers said they were disappointed that the U.S. Department of Agriculture did not confirm further export sales of U.S. soybeans to China in its daily reporting system. The agency announced no sales in the system.

• Monthly data on the U.S. soybean crush showed strong demand, though it fell short of analysts' estimates, a dealer said. The crush in November was up 11.8% from the same month a year ago and the largest-ever November crush, the National Oilseed Processors Association said on Monday.
