Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining profit margins fall

- Northwest European gasoline refinery profit margins fell by about $1.26 to $13.27 a barrel on Friday.

  • About 14,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline traded on barges as Exxon Mobil and Trafigura sold to Gunvor, TotalEnergies, Varo and BP.

  • Exxon sold an E10 gasoline barge to BP.

  • Gasoline stocks independently held in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub fell around 2% in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed. ARA/

  • Ukrainian drones damaged a primary processing unit and a loading rack at Russia's fourth-largest oil refinery, Slavneft-YANOS, in the city of Yaroslavl, three industry sources said on Friday, adding that the refinery suspended output. The 300,000 barrel per day (bpd) plant produced 2.6 million tons of gasoline last year.

  • Meanwhile, EU-27 and UK gasoline exports to other regions have averaged 739,000 barrels per day in the week ending Dec. 8, and are on track to hit similar levels this week, according to Kpler data.
