US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids unchanged in muted trade

CHICAGO, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for hard red winter wheat were unchanged in the U.S. Plains states on Wednesday as selling remained slow.

• There are some winterkill risks in parts of the U.S. Midwest, but snow cover in most areas has been sufficient. The U.S. wheat crop is in dormancy.

• Chicago wheat eased for the fourth session, with increases to U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates for global production and stocks underscoring ample supply.

• K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 futures last traded 5 cents lower at $5.22 per bushel.
