CHICAGO, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for hard red winter wheat were unchanged in the U.S. Plains states on Wednesday as selling remained slow.
There are some winterkill risks in parts of the U.S. Midwest, but snow cover in most areas has been sufficient. The U.S. wheat crop is in dormancy.
Chicago wheat eased for the fourth session, with increases to U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates for global production and stocks underscoring ample supply.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 futures last traded 5 cents lower at $5.22 per bushel.
