Trump says he will put tariffs on fertilizer from Canada if needed

WASHINGTON, Dec 8 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump warned on Monday that he will impose severe tariffs on fertilizer from Canada if he deems it necessary.
"A lot of it does come in from Canada, and so we'll end up putting very severe tariffs on that, if we have to, because that's the way you want to bolster here," Trump said during an event in the White House Cabinet Room.
