TOKYO, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Finance ministers from the Group of Seven major countries have met online to discuss how to beef up supply chains for rare earths and other critical minerals, Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters, Katayama said she had told her counterparts that the G7 countries should utilise tax, fiscal and finance schemes to enhance supply chains among partner nations and prevent China restricting the trade in rare earths.
