SINGAPORE, Dec 8 (Reuters) - The CBOT soybean January contract SF26 may extend loss into a range of $10.86-1/4 to $10.91-3/4 per bushel, as suggested by its wave pattern and a projection analysis.
The contract is riding on a wave c, the third wave of three-wave cycle from $11.42-1/4. This wave has travelled close to its 238.2% projection level of $10.95-3/4. It is highly likely to extend to $10.91-3/4.
Another projection analysis on a bigger wave C from $11.42 reveals a target of $10.86-1/4, the 100% level. Resistance is fixed at $11.02-1/4, a break above which may lead to a gain to $11.07-3/4.
On the daily chart, a channel technique suggests a target of $10.56-1/4, which is pointed by a head-and-shoulders as well. It is not very clear if a bounce would occur around $10.97-1/2.
Such a bounce will be classified as a pullback toward the head-and-shoulders. It may be capped at $11.13.
