NEW YORK, Dec 5 (Reuters) - California Resources CRC.N on Friday morning reported a leak at San Ardo Oil Field in Monterey County, California, according to a filing with a state regulator.
The flow to the pipe has been halted and the discharge has been stopped, California Resources said in the filing with California Governor's Office Emergency Service on Friday.
A release of 93 barrels of produced water and 3 barrels of oil was found coming from a group line pipe, according to the filing. No waterways or storm drains were impacted.
A crew was on site working on repairs to the pipe. No injuries or evacuations were reported.
California Resources did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Heavy oil produced at San Ardo supplies to the Los Angeles refining market, the company's website shows.
