
CHICAGO, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures ended lower on a day of light trade after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday.
CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 settled down 2 cents to close at $5.38-1/2 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 ended down 2-1/2 cents at $5.27-1/2 a bushel, and Minneapolis December spring wheat MWEH26 traded flat at $5.78-1/2 a bushel.
Trading ended early at 12:05 p.m. CST.
Ukraine completed 2026 winter sowing at 6.43 million hectares, and winter wheat dominated the sowing area with almost 4.7 million hectares, the economy ministry said on Friday.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported weekly net export sales of wheat for the week ended October 16 at 341,300 metric tons.
