
CHICAGO, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Friday.
NOTE: Markets were closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and trading was scheduled to end early on Friday at 12:05 p.m. CST (1805 GMT). CME Group CME.O said its Globex futures and options markets pre-opened at 07:00 Central Time (1300 GMT) and open at 07:30 CT, after an earlier halt.
WHEAT - Down 2 cents per bushel
Wheat mixed to lower as favorable weather in growing regions and ample supply weigh.
Ukraine completed 2026 winter sowing at 6.43 million hectares, and winter wheat dominated the sowing area with almost 4.7 million hectares, the economy ministry said on Friday.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported weekly net export sales of wheat for the week ended October 16 at 341,300 metric tons.
On Wednesday, CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 settled up 1-1/4 cents to close at $5.40-1/2 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 ended up 1-3/4 cents at $5.30 a bushel, and Minneapolis December spring wheat MWEH26 settled down 2-1/4 cents at $5.78-1/2 a bushel.
CORN - Down 1 cent to up 1 cent per bushel
Corn mixed to higher on continued buying.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported weekly net export sales of corn for the week ended October 16 at 3,394,100 metric tons.
U.S. exporters sold 273,988 tons of corn to unknown destinations for 2025/2026 delivery, the USDA reported.
On Wednesday, CBOT March corn CH26 climbed 7 cents to end at $4.45-1/4 a bushel.
SOYBEANS - Down 1 cent to up 2 cents per bushel
Soybean futures mixed on follow-through buying from Wednesday's trade, with support from Chinese purchases of soybeans.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported weekly net export sales of soybeans for the week ended October 16 at 1,108,000 metric tons.
U.S. exporters sold 273,988 tons of soybeans to China for 2025/2026 delivery, the USDA reported.
The most-active soybean contract Sv1 on Wednesday ended up 6-3/4 cents at $11.31-1/2 a bushel.
