US Plains HRW Wheat-Spot basis bids flat with trade quiet

ReutersNov 13, 2025 10:22 PM

- Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were unchanged in the U.S. Plains on Thursday.

  • Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures closed fractionally lower on Thursday, pressured by ample global supplies including a record-large Argentine harvest, while strength in corn and soybean futures underpinned the market.

  • Ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's first supply and demand report since mid-September, analysts surveyed by Reuters on average expect the government to raise its forecasts of 2025/26 U.S. and global wheat ending stocks.

  • K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ25 ended up 1/4 cent at $5.25-3/4 a bushel
