US Senate deal on shutdown is positive development, Trump aide says

WASHINGTON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - A Senate compromise that could restore federal funding and end the longest government shutdown in U.S. history is "a positive development," a White House official said on Monday.
"The action in the Senate is a positive development and we look forward to seeing it progress," said the official, who declined to be named.
