Turkey in technical talks with Candu on planned nuclear plants

ISTANBUL, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Turkey has agreed to begin technical talks with Canadian nuclear technology company Candu Energy, a unit of AtkinsRéalis ATRL.TO, on possible cooperation over two planned large-scale nuclear plants, Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said on Thursday.
In a social media post, Bayraktar said he met AtkinsRealis Chief Executive Ian Edwards and Canadian diplomats in Ankara as part of the ministry's discussions with global companies on the construction plans.
