US Cash Grains-Soy, corn basis bids ease at river terminals

CHICAGO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Basis bids for soybeans and corn eased at river terminals in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday after some farmers recently sold crops, making more supplies available to grain merchants, traders said.

• Basis bids declined at river terminals near Davenport, Iowa, and Morris, Illinois.

• Basis also fell for soy at a processor in Decatur, Illinois, and for corn at a processor in Blair, Nebraska.

• The U.S. Department of Agriculture was again not expected to publish weekly U.S. export sales data on Thursday due to the federal government's shutdown.

• Chicago Board of Trade soybean Sv1 and corn Cv1 futures finished higher.GRA/
