BEIJING, Nov 5 (Reuters) - China hopes various parties can maintain communications on the Iran nuclear issue and resume dialogue and negotiation, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Wednesday during a call with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi.
"The current political process for resolving the Iran nuclear issue is at a standstill, and this is not in the common interest of the international community," Wang said according to a readout of the phone call released by his ministry.
The Chinese foreign minister also reiterated China's support for Iran's right to use nuclear energy peacefully.
