US Cash Grains-Corn, soy bids mixed as futures weaken

CHICAGO, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Corn and soy bids were mixed in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday as some farmers sold their crop and futures weakened.

• U.S. soybean futures fell on Tuesday, retreating from a 16-month high hit a day earlier, as traders awaited Chinese purchases of U.S. cargoes following last week's trade truce between the world's two largest economies.

• Most-active soybean futures Sv1 fell 12-3/4 cents to end at $11.21-1/2 per bushel.

• CBOT corn Cv1 fell 2-3/4 cents to end at $4.31-1/2 per bushel.
