Oct 28 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas producer Expand Energy EXE.O on Tuesday reported a profit in the third quarter, compared with a year-ago loss, driven by increased output and stronger commodity prices.
The Oklahoma City-based company reported a profit of $547 million, or $2.28 per share, for the quarter ended September 30, compared with a net loss of $114 million, or 85 cents per share, a year earlier.
