LONDON, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The outage on a platform in the North Sea Ekofisk area will have an "insignificant impact" on oil and gas production, operator ConocoPhillips said on Friday.
EKOFISK PLATFORM SHUT
Production at the Ekofisk 2/4 K oil and gas platform in the North Sea is shut, TV2 Norway reported on Thursday, citing operator ConocoPhillips.
"Preliminary assessments indicate minor impact on the platform structure," a spokesperson for the U.S. oil company said in an emailed statement.

Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
No trades of benchmark grades on Friday, a trade source said.
On Thursday, TotalEnergies had bid for a Johan Sverdrup cargo at dated Brent minus 80 cents. Sverdrup is not one of the six crudes that can set the dated Brent benchmark.
