Citgo operational issue results in reduced operations at Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery east plant

Oct 22 (Reuters) - Citgo Corpus Christi refinery's east plant experienced an operational issue that has resulted in a reduction in operations within the facility and brief flaring, the company said on Wednesday.
Citgo said the incident does not pose any threat to the surrounding community, employees or contractors.
The company's 165,000 barrels-per-day refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, consists of the east and west plants.
