WASHINGTON, Oct 21 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Energy said on Tuesday it is looking to buy one million barrels of crude oil for delivery to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as it seeks to take advantage of relatively low oil prices to help replenish the stash.
President Donald Trump's tax and spending bill included about $171 million for the SPR including crude oil purchases, much less than the $1.3 billion that had originally been in the legislation.
