US Cash Products-Gulf Coast diesel declines on Colonial cycle change

NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Cash differentials for diesel fell in the U.S. Gulf Coast on Monday after trading rolled over to Colonial Pipeline's 61st annual cycle of deliveries to New York Harbor, traders said.

Products placed on the pipeline in this cycle will deliver during November, so differentials are calculated against the December ultra-low sulfur diesel futures contract HOc2 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The December contract will replace November ULSD futures HOc1 as the benchmark next month.

On accounting for the spread between November and December futures, Gulf Coast 62-grade ULSD ULSD-DIFF-USG fell 0.70 cent to 7.9 cents below futures, traders said.

Meanwhile, U.S. Gulf Coast M3 conventional gasoline RU-DIFF-USG was unchanged at 10.5 cents above December gasoline futures RBc1 and A3 CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-USG fell half a cent to 5.5 cents below futures, traders said.

Chicago CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-MC was unchanged at parity to benchmark November gasoline futures RBc1, traders said. ULSD ULSD-DIFF-MC gained a cent to 1.5 cents per gallon below benchmark ULSD futures.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline RUV-DIFF-G3 fell 1.75 cents to 8.5 cents above futures, while diesel ULSD-DIFF-G3 fell a quarter of a cent to 0.75 cent below the benchmark.

Benchmark gasoline futures fell 0.75 cent to settle at $1.8302 a gallon, while ULSD futures gained 1.21 cents to close at $2.1921.

Renewable fuel (D6) credits RIN-D6-US for 2025 traded around $1.05 each, up from around $1.04 in the previous session, traders said.

Biomass-based (D4) credits RIN-D4-US rose to about $1.08 each, up from $1.07 each earlier, traders said.
