US Plains HRW Wheat-Protein premiums flat, basis bids steady

CHICAGO, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat were flat at elevators in the southern U.S. Plains on Monday, and premiums were unchanged for all grades of wheat.

• Premiums for HRW wheat shipped by rail to or through Kansas City were unchanged for wheat with all types of protein content. KCBT/SCA

• Dry weather is expected to persist for winter wheat grown in the southern U.S. Plains in the coming weeks, according to forecaster Commodity Weather Group.

• K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ25 futures settled down 1-1/2 cents on Monday at $4.90 per bushel. GRA/
