EU proposes out-of-quota duty of 50% for imported steel, Sejourne says

BRUSSELS, Oct 7 (Reuters) - The European Commission proposes an out-of-quota duty of 50% for imported steel, EU Commissioner Stephane Sejourne said on Tuesday.
"This is the new safeguard clause on steel. This is the reindustrialization of Europe.", Sejourne said in a post on X.
