Ukrainian drones try to attack industrial target in Russia's Urals, governor says

MOSCOW, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Ukrainian drones tried to attack an unnamed industrial facility in the Russian city of Orsk near the border with Kazakhstan, the governor of the wider Orenburg region said on Friday.

Yevgeny Solntsev, the governor, said there were no casualties at the facility and that work there was continuing, though he said emergency services were working at the scene.

Unverified video posted to Telegram showed an object smashing into a facility identified as the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk.

Ukraine has stepped up its attacks on Russian refineries in the last two months to try to disrupt petrol supplies and deprive Moscow of funding.
