GENEVA, Oct 2 (Reuters) - A World Trade Organization panel on Thursday said the European Union had acted inconsistently with some WTO rules in a dispute over its anti-dumping tariffs on Indonesian stainless steel.
Indonesia brought the dispute to the WTO in 2023, alleging that the EU's tariffs had cut its steel exports severely.
The panel called for the EU to bring its measures into conformity with an agreement on subsidies and countervailing measures.
