Oct 1 (Reuters) - Corn and soybean basis bids were flat to mixed at grain elevators and processing facilities in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday, dealers said, as the accelerating harvest brought in fresh supplies.
The corn basis edged up at a Cincinnati, Ohio, elevator. It also rose at a processor in Decatur, Illinois and a river terminal in Davenport, Iowa.
The soybean basis fell at the Cincinnati elevator and rose at the Davenport river terminal.
Warm dry weather in the U.S. Midwest has helped the harvest advance in recent weeks, although rains could bring a brief interruption next week, according to Commodity Weather Group.
Chicago corn futures extended losses on Wednesday to new multi-week lows after U.S. grains data underscored ample supply, while soybeans dropped after U.S. lawmakers said China is unlikely to make purchases of U.S. soybeans in the near future. GRA/
