SAO PAULO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - A majority of four councilors for Brazil's CADE antitrust watchdog on Tuesday decided to vote to delay a final decision on whether or not to suspend the so-called soy moratorium pact until the end of this year.
Four of the CADE's councilors voted to delay the decision until the end of the year, while reporting councilor Carlos Jacques Gomes voted to suspend the pact.
The soy moratorium program is a voluntary initiative under which exporters - including some of the world's top grain traders - agree not to buy soy from farmers who cleared land in the Amazon rainforest after July 2008.
