MOSCOW, Sept 26 (Reuters) - The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Ukrainian drone attacks on Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) infrastructure ran counter to the interests of the United States, Kazakhstan and Russia and global energy security.
The CPC, which mainly carries oil from Kazakhstan, suspended tanker loading operations following a Ukrainian drone strike on the southern Russian port of Novorossiisk on Wednesday.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement that the attack "demonstrates a disdainful attitude towards the leaders of states personally involved in establishing peaceful dialogue."
The CPC's shareholders include U.S. majors Chevron CVX.N and Exxon Mobil XOM.N.
