AREQUIPA, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Investment in Peru's Falchani lithium project has increased by 22% to $847 million and is in the process of restarting after the resolution of a legal dispute over its concessions, an executive from Macusani Yellowcake, a unit of Canada's American Lithium Corp LI.V, said on Thursday.
Ulises Solis, general manager of Macusani Yellowcake, told Reuters the updated investment includes plans to build a refinery at the project site in the Andean region of Puno, in southeastern Peru.
