REFILE-Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline cracks head lower

- Northwest European gasoline profit margins fell 40 cents a barrel on Thursday due to higher stockpiles of the motor fuel.

  • A total of 2,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges were traded, with Sahara selling to Aramco.

  • E10 barges of a total of 19,000 tons traded, with Phillips 66 and Shell selling to Varo, Equinor and Exxon.

  • Russia will extend an existing ban on gasoline exports, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak was quoted as saying on Thursday, following a spate of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian refineries.

  • The gasoline ban covers producers as well as re-sellers, but does not affect inter-governmental agreements between Russia and a number of other countries, such as Mongolia.
