US Cash Grains-Soybean basis bids steady to down at processors

Sept 19 (Reuters) - Soybean basis bids were steady to down at processing facilities in a spot check of locations around the U.S. Midwest on Friday, as futures took a dive.

• The corn basis fell 8 cents at a processor in Decatur, Illinois.

• U.S. soybean futures fell on Friday, erasing early gains after a phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping failed to yield news on soybean exports, analysts said. GRA/.

• Drier weather in parts of the U.S. Midwest next week is expected to be favorable for corn and soybean harvesting, according to Commodity Weather Group.
