NEW YORK, Sept 17 (Reuters) - U.S. net imports of crude oil fell 3.1 million barrels per day to 415,000 bpd last week, the lowest in records going back to 2001, as exports rose to a near two-year high, data from the Energy Information Administration showed on Wednesday.
Crude oil exports rose 2.5 million bpd week-over-week to average 5.3 million bpd in the week ended September 12, the highest since December 2023, the data showed.
