CHICAGO, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures rose on Friday under spillover support from higher corn prices, analysts said.
Large global supplies of the grain have continued to hang over the market.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture in a monthly supply and demand report lowered its estimate for U.S. wheat ending stocks but raised its estimate for world wheat ending stocks.
CBOT December soft red winter wheat WZ25 rose 2 cents at $5.23-1/2 per bushel.
K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ25 rose 4-3/4 cents to end at $5.14-3/4 per bushel.
Minneapolis December spring wheat MWEZ25 finished 1/4 cent higher at $5.71-3/4 a bushel.
