EU could phase out Russian oil and gas faster, US energy secretary says

BRUSSELS, Sept 12 (Reuters) - The European Union could phase out Russian oil and gas faster, adding that would be helpful in ending the war in Ukraine, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said on Friday.
Speaking at an event in Brussels organised by the Centre for European Policy Studies think-tank, Wright also said if the EU did not fix its methane laws, it would prevent LNG imports from the United States.
