Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline profit slide on waning demand

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins fell sharply by nearly $2 to $15.61 a barrel on Tuesday, as trading activity dried up.

• Gunvor sold the only Eurobob E5 barge in the session to Trafigura.

• An additional 12,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded, with Shell and Gunvor selling to Equinor, MB Energy and Varo.

• Road fuel deliveries in France fell by 4.6% year-on-year in July to 4.39 million cubic metres, and were 2.6% lower than June levels, data published in CPDP's monthly consumption report showed.

• Gasoline deliveries were up 3.5% year-on-year in July.

• BP's BP.L 440,000 barrel per day (bpd) refinery in Whiting, Indiana, is expected to be fully operational in the next 24 to 48 hours, industry monitor IIR said on Monday.

• The refinery experienced operational upsets last week due to flooding caused by a severe thunderstorm that swept through the state.

• EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions averaged 844,000 bpd in August so far, compared with 1 million bpd in July, Kpler data showed.
