Exxon plans 2026 overhaul on small CDU at Beaumont, Texas refinery, sources say

HOUSTON, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp XOM.N plans a six-week overhaul in February 2026 on the small crude distillation unit (CDU) at its 612,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Beaumont, Texas, refinery, said people familiar with plant operations.
Exxon spokesperson Kelly Davila said the company does not comment on upcoming maintenance.
There will also be six weeks of preparatory work around the 180,000-bpd Crude A CDU before it is shut in February for the overhaul, the sources said.
Crude A is one of three CDUs at Beaumont refinery that breaks down crude oil into feedstocks for all other units at the refinery.
Crude A processes low-sulfur sweet crude oil.
